Why rent instead of buy
Not every company needs to keep a Ballbar, a laser, or an autocollimator sitting in a cabinet. Renting usually makes sense when:
- You need to run a one-off diagnostic, without keeping the instrument on hand day to day
- You already have an internal calibration routine and just need one specific instrument to complete it
- You need to confirm a machine's geometry before a decision (purchase, technical acceptance, retrofit) without buying equipment just for that
- Usage volume doesn't justify the investment, but the need to measure is real
